Why your wallets, not your contracts

Address poisoning copies the wallets people exchange money with. After your customer pays your deposit wallet, or your payout wallet pays a partner, a bot creates an address that starts and ends with the same characters as yours and plants a fake transfer next to the real one in their history. The next time they copy "your" address from that history, the money goes to the scammer.

Published contract addresses (tokens, routers, factories) almost never get lookalikes, because nobody copies them from a payment history. When we checked the addresses companies publish, all of them were contracts, with zero lookalikes. That's why we ask for the wallets you actually pay from and get paid to.

What you get

Urgent warningIf real money was sent to one of those lookalikes, it goes at the top of the e-mail, in bold. That's usually a payment meant for you.

Weekly summaryA short "all quiet" note on Mondays, so you know monitoring is running.

Each alert lists up to 20 lookalikes, when each was first seen and how the bait was planted, with a link to our free poisoning checker. Here is a shortened, made-up example (addresses abbreviated):

Your wallets are never shown publicly, not on our stats or report pages, not in any feed. We store your e-mail, company name and wallets only to send these alerts, and we don't log them.
One-click unsubscribe in every e-mail, no login needed. Unsubscribing deletes your e-mail, company name and wallets at once.

What it doesn't cover

Verdix Watch only reports lookalikes our watcher has flagged on Base (since 23 September 2026): addresses that received or sent a zero-value or fake-token bait transfer next to a real payment. It is not a full risk check, and a quiet week doesn't mean nobody is targeting you. It can't undo a payment either.
